Nina Fisher
I work by encouraging and supporting clients to look at the ways in which they are active participants in their own lives, allowing for exploration of how they may look to others to define them as well as how they can define themselves in ways that are more empowering.
I have over 20 years of experience working within the child protection and adoption sector and qualified as a counsellor in 2023. I work safely and ethically to offer individuals help and support to navigate life’s difficulties and to challenge the often restrictive boundaries we place on our own value. I offer online or in-person sessions for both short-term and long-term needs.
I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling along with extensive continuing professional development on many of the issues that bring individuals into counselling. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to their Ethical Framework. I have insurance and an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Once I am in receipt of your questionnaire, I will then contact you to arrange a convenient time to attend a free 15 minute telephone session, where I can answer any questions you may have about counselling and how we will work together.
I currently have spaces for online sessions, Tuesday to Friday evenings 5pm to 9pm and Saturday’s 9am to 4pm. I am also able to offer in-person sessions on Saturday's 9am -4pm, from an established Therapy Centre in West Bridgford.
